I had an awesome afternoon. I went to look at a horse trailer today from a gentleman that I could tell was older by the sound of his voice on the phone. He lives in Custer on a beautiful ranch .Green , pine trees, horses...I would live there forever! Anyway, we looked at the trailer (that I am not interested in) and then he showed me around his place. He is very interesting, He used to catch and break wild horses and ran a dude ranch . He had all kinds of stories.We sat on the porch and listened to the quiet breeze and he told his stories. I spent three hours with him. He is a lonely man and it was nice to give him some company. It was a very pleasant afternoon. It was nice to met and make a new "old" friend. You could tell he was sad to have me go, he said several times that he would like to have someone come live with him and bring their horses and just help him out. I must admit, It is very tempting!
