I had an opportunity to enter Horizon Academy, a school for behavior challenged young people. I shared my testimony of deliverance and encouragement with a group of young men. They were very attentive as I spoke. The topic was on The Fruit of the SPIRIT, (an overview of the nine values that make up the Fruit) with a concentration on Self-control; however, the atmosphere changed when I touched on the value of LOVE and the virtue of RESPECT........ They ALL have one thing in common, A STRONG DESIRE TO BE LOVED and we wonder what is wrong with them. If a SOUL is VOID of The Spirit of LOVE it WILL (choose to) BE selfish, extremely emotional, disrespectful, Angry....ETC. If they are not experiencing LOVE in their homes you all know what the environment is LIKE there....... As I was leaving the school a few of the young men ask me a question.......... ARE YOU COMING BACK TOMORROW? I was lost in words because I realized that they do not even know me but they longed to experience the POWER of the ENERGY that The SPIRIT in me produced, they felt a connection to what they were missing. The principal is asking for the help of the community, especially Spiritual organizations for encouragement and vision creation concerning the young people. It is an easy process to become a volunteer.....Once a week less than a hour. YOU may SAVE one of your family members..........PRAY about it and PRAY FOR THE KIDS>>>>>PEACE and GRACE.
