I had never in my life seen TOTAL ROBBERY in football until I watched the Ghana Black Maidens Semi - Final Game against Italy today dawn at 3am. I think the ref. Fusako KAJIYAMA from Japan should be kicked out of the game entirely. These Italians were handling the ball all over, kicking our girls here and there both in and outside the box and the ref. always stood there watching and nothing was given. We even scored a clear goal that was also disallowed. Only God knows why that goal was flagged offside. Yet, she gave the Italians 2 fake penalties that nearly got my heart out of my chest. I have never witnessed such cruel penalty calls in my life. Even if the incidents appeared outside the penalty area, no referee would even award them as FOULS. The girls managed to equalise from a free kick which the referee had no option but to accept it cos the goal involved no other person except the free kick taker, the ball and the net. Otherwise I doubt that goal would have stood. In fact I felt so down this dawn after the game especially when I saw the Girls crying all over after they had lost on penalties. Of course they were emotionally down because of the robbery and couldnt convert the penalties well considering the fact that, they are young below the age of 17. The ref. had no intentions for the game than to help the Italians kick us out. It really baffles my mind that, at this point in time of the game such discrimination still exist on the international level. I saw young and skilled girls fighting so hard for their carriers and some shit referee decides to deny them what they deserve. That performance was the most spirited one I have seen from any of our national teams (not even the black stars). Anyone who watched the game would attest to this fact. Cudos to the young girls. I love them. But for that referee, Fusako KAJIYAMA, I will not forget her in prayers.
