I had no idea that the effects of a jellyfish sting could intermittently reappear. At the time of the sting, I covered my leg with wet sand and vinegar, and within 30 minutes it was all better! I didnt have anymore problems at all. Its been a week ago I was stung and out of the blue last night I started feeling sick, flu like symptoms THEN my leg became hived up again, inflamed and itching. Im more miserable now than I was at the time of the sting. Im feeling some system effects, weakness, fatigue and nausea. My leg is red, inflamed and ITCHING!! Never going in the ocean when there is an aquatic warning again😢 (For the record I never paid any attention to the lifeguard flags until after our stings last week, but I will now) Taking my Benadryl and going to 😴
