I had some very proud Team Manager moments over the weekend!!! Well done to all the Onegiantleap Racing Team who raced on home soil in this weekends GaS Downhill Racing Round 1 event at Onegiantleap Llangollen. Such an epic weekend from the dusty tracks on Saturday to the game changing rain showers on the Sunday, but not even this metamorphosis could phase our Tangerine Dream Machine, as they were very vocal cheering each other down our home track and stood out around the course in our custom orange shirts. Sarah Staples threw the gauntlet down to her male team mates by taking the top step of the podium by beating the Campbell Coaching siblings of Ally and Jenny into second and third place in the ladies race. Gary Williams travelled all the way from Ireland to grab 2nd place in the Veterans in his first race at Llangollen on "home" soil. Aaron and Daz both got 4th place in their respective categories, while Jamie conquered his demons after racing the track that sidelined him for many months following a previous off. "Bob" did well in a very hard fought category, while Ian Moss got his mojo and his smile back after finishing the day on a clean race run, with Tom not able to do his final run after crashing out on his first race run.
