I had such a good day yesterday. Enjoyed going to the grocery store with my neighbor and then visited three other neighbors. Jan and I met at Logans for lupper (Jans word for the meal between lunch and supper, which is when we most often end up eating). I hadnt eaten all day and was hungry so I really enjoyed my meal. My favorite thing about Logans is that sautéed mushrooms are a side choice so you dont have to pay extra for them and I like their mushrooms. Yesterday, I had a delicious, perfectly prepared steak and was still more excited about the mushrooms. I did a little shopping and bought a 19-inch flat screen TV. I am, however, having a terrible time (worse than in the past) getting consistent enough adequate reception to pull in the major broadcast networks. I found a sight called antenna.org. You enter your address and it tells you what the quality of reception is in your area, then it recommends the best type of antenna (not brand). Im going to try to find a better antenna. I just dont want to watch TV bad enough to pay for cable or satellite. The last good thing about yesterday was that I confirmed that I can get Pandora through my car. While I was driving, I listened to my Emmylou Harris station and heard music by Emmylou, the Dixie Chicks, Alison Krauss, Patty Griffin and some new artists--all great. It was a wonderful day and thats why I went to bed worn out and immediately crashed. Having a new car is exhausting!
