I had the distinct honor to meet and spend some time with Felix Giles at Mannys El Loco late into Friday evening. Felix is the real deal! Not only does he look about 25 years younger than he is, but he is as gracious, humble, and generous of a man as Ive ever met; not to mention, hes one of if not the most accomplished & diversified patriots Ive ever had the privilege to meet. While waiting on him (traffic sucks down there!), I chatted with some Bikers for Christ whose bikes I had parked next to. After explaining about meeting Felix for the first time, and a little about his background, he pulled up. As we all chatted, they glanced through a photo album he brought for me to view; truly incredible!!! Before we broke away to order, they asked him for an autograph. Felix provided them not only with a photo of him and Dale Earnhardt Sr., but he smiling complied with their requests to have it personalized, like To my very best buddy Jesse, etc... It was awesome! They asked if hed pray with them, and of course, he did. Thank you Felix for your service in so many ways, your friendship, and your unbridled generosity to others. You truly are a national treasure and an incredible role model!!! Gumball Rally!!!
