I had to run into the grocery store this afternoon. it was quite busy. While I was waiting in the checkout line, I looked & saw a lady with a couple items in the line behind me. I motioned her up & let her ahead of me. She was very appreciative since she was in a hurry with company waiting for her at home. After her items were totaled, she scanned her credit card, but it got the response of Declined. She was shocked & embarrassed. Even with the clerks assistance time & again, she still was declined. This led to her becoming frantic. She kept declaring there was money in the account. As I watched, I felt for her. I have had this glitch to happen to me a couple of times unexpectedly. The Lord prompted me to step forward & pay her bill. She wanted to decline, but she really had no choice. She said, Ill pay you back! If you give me your address! I told her, No. I just want to bless you. I know what youre going through. The Lord will bless me for doing this. She seemed not to hear a word I was saying. She was so frantic. She said, Let me hug your neck! She hugged me being apologetic all the time. I grabbed her arm & looked her in the face & emphatically repeated the words, This IS a Blessing from The Lord. He LOVES you! I think she got the message. She thanked me again & hurried away. It felt so good being used by the Lord. I turned & saw a big smile on the cashiers face. As I gathered my bags to leave, the little lady who was bagging, smiled & reached out & patted me on the shoulder. Now that is something money cant buy. There are no words to describe what its like when the Lord is pleased by our obedience. Believe it or not, you can actually feel his smile upon your heart. If you havent been celebrating the loving of others, NOW is a good time to begin!!!!! It really is a Merry Christmas!!!!!!
