I had to share this from a fellow FB post: TO THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS (weight loss success) I was looking at a talk show yesterday and there was a doctor talking about the stages of weight loss. It made perfect sense to me and I wanted to share in the hopes that it will help some of the have nots PUSH through to the other side. Stage One: INSPIRATION- this is the stage where you are inspired to lose weight and you are chomping at the bit to get started and see your miraculous transformation! (usually unrealistic expectations) Stage Two: FRUSTRATION/TEMPTATION- This sets in when you dont have the immediate results you expect and you become frustrated, making temptation easy to give in to. Please remind yourself that this is just a stage and will not last forever. Be as determined as ever to keep pushing forward and be patient. After all, even though it may take some time, it will only be a fraction of the time it took for you to put all the weight on!Keep you eyes on the prize! Stage Three: HEALTHY HABITS-This is the final stage for success. After creating healthy eating habits and excersice habits (even if just moderate) your success is the motivation to keep you on track. By this time eating healthier (and you dont have to deprive yourself-anything in moderation) and living an overall healthy lifestyl become a habit and a way of life. I dont want to oversimplify, but it really is as simple as that. Keep in mind that I did not say EASY, I said SIMPLE! And believe me no weight loss program is as simple as PLEXUS.
