I had, what I call a Meh run today. I just couldnt get much above 5min/km pace. I look back on the week and it makes sense. I have been naughty, staying up a little too late and I have been distracted with a few things recently. The key with this is to self assess when you have one of those days. What is not working? What have I done in the last 48-72hrs? You normally get your answer, upon reflection. Dont force your body to do something that it just cant fire for. I believe in quality training, dedication and consistency but I also believe in TLC work for the body and focusing on the big 4 points: 1) Adequate sleep 2) Reducing life stress 3) Good food 4) Staying hydrated Happy running Rosco
