I happened to tell you of this some days back; St. Philips - TopicsExpress

I happened to tell you of this some days back; St. Philips Matangini sourced a loan of Kshs 1.5M from a bank without the knowledge of the stakeholders at large. To add salt into a fresh sore, the money was used to fund the drilling of an already dry-proved land. The drilling was done by an efficient company-Maji Africa Ltd, but no single drop of water was witnessed! Now the parents have to take the burden of raising the money for repayment of the loan which they were never informed of. The repayment will take 16 equal instalments; equivalent to 15 sch terms, hence 5 years of loan payment, each term the school giving the bank not less than Kshs 151,300. This translates to conclusion that for the next 5 years the school will be depreciating in terms of development. We call upon the intervention of the District Education Office or else the school will perish due to domination by the long serving principal who does not work with the right people; he neglects the entire administration, he cannot work with the deputy and the clerk, and the enlightened members of the BOG and PTA... the school clerk was sacked and replaced the following day, the new one sacked after 2 weeks and the old one reighstained. Around mid this month the clerk was resacked- an indication that there is transparency being hidden. The principal works with unlearned subordinate members like cooks and matron, who spy on the daily happenings in the school, he cannot work with the right staff since he wants to amass funds to himself without encountering any oversight. For the past 4 years Matangini had witnessed a stream of progress because of Mr Kamaus, the then deputy principal, presence. For the well-being of St Philips, Mr Musau should be exchanged with Mr Kamau... You relevant County Authorities, we are together watching the withering of SPM!
