I hate that bullshit, fear mongering debt rhetoric...like the world (or even our country) needs good credit. As if a persons credit rating is actually representative of their character. I know lots of people (mostly artists and poets and nontraditional students-in-debt or default) that I would trust with my child that have low credit scores because of slowly paid or unpaid debt. Get out of here with pre- industrial revolution, romanticized idea of being debt-neutral. The whole fabricated idea of a modern day middle class is propped up on good debt. Dont believe the hype, dont let manufactured crises force us to conservative austerity measures. The same global interests that created the credit ratings and debt calculations are the transnational robber barons who tell us we are out of compliance with their gold standard. Its a power move designed to keep us (and our markets) off balance but in line. Literally moving and de-centering (or undermining) organic market dynamics within a country (per se) for corporate globalist Sorry for the rant, but the debt monster/boogie man is as fantastic as the GDP (Gross Domestic Product ... Another pseudo academic Wall Street-esque fabricated tool of distraction). Personal debt is a way to control individuals, as it controls me currently, and I gotta get free too!
