I hate this myth that nerd/geek fans are mostly socially awkward, immature, and irresponsible people. Some of the coolest, realest, and most personable people Ive met are into geek stuff. Theres a lot of incredible people into dorky shit. Im really tired of people making sweeping generalizations of what a person is like based on their hobbies. It happens all the time. It just makes no sense to stereotype and generalize others, you only hurt yourself by closing doors to friendships and connections.
