I have a 2000 Ford Ranger that I use as my errand-running bumming around car. Its old, has some rust spots, the drivers electric window just went out--luckily in the up position--the adding that used to protect my left hip from a nasty piece of steel seat frame is gone, so I have that biting into me when I drive, and -- well, thats about it. I have sworn Id never get rid of it until it falls apart, which it kinda is. But its the duty truck for several neighbors, and we use it for hauling, big box buys, etc. While driving home last night I kept thinking maybe its time to get rid of it, get myself a small, economic late model car for my own use. So I drive into my driveway last night and find a note on my windshield from someone who wants to buy my truck as is. A sign? Dont know what Im going to do. It just costs me the amount of liability insurance to keep it on the road, but know if I sold it Id be cursing myself every time I go to CostCo or Lowes and wonder to myself: How the heck am I gonna get this home? Suggestions?
