I have a New Years Resolution and that is that we all work together to rebuild the club we have grown to respect and love. Julian and I would appreciate Bernard Ave Lolesio-Vaihu , Iese Lavea , and Preston Adam Carl Büsing to please attend the AGM and any of you boys/players that feel the need to leave or have left, because as far as I am concerned you are Marist boys and we would like nothing more than to see you return to your roots. Rather than focusing on what has happened and who said what, lets focus on fixing it by working together. Not bossing each other around but communicating . I coached for 9 years at Marist and I can say they were the best 9 years ever. Sure there were hiccups and problems. we never had a complete matching uniform most of the time but that was not going to stop us from doing what we had volunteered to do. It takes a team that communicates to take the field and win and it also takes a team to run a winning club. It is up to all of us to do this. I want to see some of my boys at the AGM, Patrick Katoa, George Sam Iosefa-Ale, Lance Wright, Cherise N Malua Faasolo-Siitia, Luke Cameron, Leo Aholelei , Odyssey and Arona Junior Sa. Make sure you bring as many as you can because Marist needs to hear your voice, what will work for you and what wont. And then decide if you want to come back or if you want to leave. And if you dont want to play then we have juniors to take care of. I dont know about you but I am Marist for Life see you all at the AGM :)
