I have a bonded pair of dogs that I rescued that are now searching for a forever home. They must stay together. This pair has gone through so much and I dont have the heart to separate them. Most likely they were dumped out here and they had to survive four or five months on the streets. The female got pregnant during this time and had puppies under an unoccupied home. I was finally able to get them to come to me around this time. The male would take food back to his wife. When the puppies were four weeks old, the momma brought all four to me over a two day period. The puppies have all been placed and it is now time for the parents. They have been to the vet and are heartworm free, worm free, and UTD on rabies vaccine. They are the most friendly dogs I have met. They are very much child friendly and dog friendly. They are super gentle and very sweet. They are quick learners! They walk well on leash and ride in the car. They are also potty trained! The female is approx 3 years old, 16 lbs, and is a dachshund/terrier mix. The male is approx 1 years old, 40 lbs, and is a small lab mix. They are built-in companions so they wont be lonely when you are away. They like to play but are not hyper at all. They enjoy walks, Frisbee, playing with each other, going to Oak Mountain, sunning their bellies, and getting loved on. I very much wish I could keep them, but I have four dogs of my own and cannot keep this pair as well. Vet reference will be required to insure they are going to a loving home.
