I have a couple questions to pose before the mass looting and arson begin in and around Ferguson Missouri....Can any of you prove that Darren Wilson (a white police officer) is a racist because he drew his weapon and killed an unarmed 18yr old black man in the streets of Ferguson Missouri? (If you answer yes, what facts can you offer to support your claim). Second question, and given the exact same circumstances of this incident, are you convinced or do you think Officer Wilson would have held his fire if Michael Brown would have been white? I wonder how many police involved shootings (justified or not) happen every year throughout our country when the victims are of the same race as the shooters. How about if Darren Wilson was a black police officer, would this case have gone nationwide? Tragic that it is to Michael Browns family and community, the cry of racism (whether its justified or not in this case) will probably not matter to the hundreds of trouble makers and anarchists who will travel long distances from other parts of the country to take part in the rioting and looting that we are about to witness on our TVs, and, Heaven forbid, even in our own communities. Maybe Darren Wilson did screw up in a major way, OR, maybe he was completely justified in drawing his weapon and shooting down Michael Brown. The Grand Jury decision, (even if officer Wilson is indicted), will not bring Michael back, and the violence in our culture will undoubtably continue...so say a prayer for our black and white brothers and sisters (we are all Gods children), and pray for peace. Amen
