Adoption Clinic Update: We do not adopt under the first come, first serve assumption that is going around. We do adopt to the first approved application IF it is a good match for that family and that particular dog/puppy. Arriving at clinic extremely early is not only distracting but it can be intimidating to our volunteers trying their best to get ready for clinic. The volunteers have several things going on prior to clinic starting which is why we have a specific time for clinics to begin. It is NOT ok to harass or threaten our volunteers. They are exactly that, volunteers. They are not making personal decisions against any of our hopeful adopters, they are making the best decisions they can for the dogs. We are here to serve the dogs and puppies. We cannot possibly adopt to every interested person as thankfully, we dont have that many available puppies all of the time. Sometimes decisions regarding adoptions happen outside of clinic under special circumstances. An example of a special circumstance is if a foster family wants to adopt an available puppy, they are able to notify us and if it is a good fit they do have preference as they are actively helping our organization to continue.
