I have a customer who yesterday said that she and her grandson have seen a woman in my store at the top of the stairs (a ghost) dressed in black. Debra, are you reading this? They have seen your great Grandmothers picture and swear that is who it is. They say she stands at the top and motions to them to welcome them up. The little boy will not go upstairs any more. I am not sure what the floorplan of the shop looked like when your Great-Grandfather opened his watch shop there in 1850, or even that the stairs were in the present location.This is one of my longtime customers from 7 years back. I shall consider going up there and sitting on the floor in the dark on All Hallows Night to see if anyone wants to pass forth any messages, huh?
