I have a few questions with the wording and maybe someone can help me make sense of this: designed to provide training for persons intending to deploy urgently in response to the current Ebola outbreak. Persons without U.S. citizenship may apply, but the time to process international applications is estimated to be 90 days. This training course was designed to simulate working conditions in Ebola Treatment Units (ETUs) in Africa, and it is not ideally suited for Ebola preparedness training for workers in U.S. healthcare facilities. CDC is not planning training courses in Ebola virus prevention at this time for U.S.-based health care providers, unless they are planning to work in an ETU in West Africa. WTF AM I MISSING? WHY NOT TRAIN OUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW?! cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/hcp/safety-training-course/index.html
