I have a friend. We know each other quite well, but we know each other through a specific circumstance and what I do for a living, or what my life is beyond our small friendship, has never been of consequence. And to be honest, during the insane months of the whole Pantigate thing, I quite liked that he had no idea and so never asked me about it or wanted to talk about it. Today he sent me this - with a lot of exclamation marks! - because he only just discovered today that its me. I watched it for the first time since shortly after it was uploaded, and watching it now, it strikes me what a huge impact these ten minutes have had on my life since. Ten minutes that I gave very little thought to at the time. I suppose everyone has unexpected moments that change their lives in some way, but its odd to have those moments on video and to see how unsuspecting you were at the time. Its been a wild ride.
