I have a friend that was there for me during a very dark time in my life a few years back. He didnt pick me up, he got me to pick myself up from that darkness and get back in the fight. Since then, every morning he texts me something meaningful. Its been over 6 years of mornings. I cant tell you what that seemingly simple gesture has meant to me, what it has helped me through, and what its made me believe. I still get dark days, the difference is I know they will pass now and Im not alone in that darkness. Someone thinks Im worth the time to find a message and deliver it to me each and every morning. Imagine the lives we could change if we could do that. Thank you is not enough, but it is from the heart. Thank you Francis J. Skip Flynn This morning his message was this.
