I have a goal of getting back in the ring early 2015, so to do that I need to get my cardio fitness up. Set out to run 21k this arvo, I wanted to do it in under 2 hrs. I havent run futher then 4-5k in 12 months and I decided to run in the sand barefoot, so im not sure what I was thinking, but that shows the power of the mind. Long distance running is like goal setting , you set out what you wanna do, a time how long its gonna take, once you start out the voices in your head start telling you yeah I dont think this is gonna happen ( if your like me you have 3 or 4 voices) but once you get past that half way mark, its already done, your praying to german house gods of pandora for some more filthy beats to get you over the line, an boom its done. Money cant pay for that high I got this afternoon, motion creates emotion. Didnt get the time I wanted but shit it feels good to just bang out 21k. Think of something you can do this week to get you out of your comfort zone, then tell someone your gonna do it, so youve got accountability to follow through. Yeaaah man!
