I have a grammar police pet peeve, that Ive already seen twice this morning. The sentence structure that annoys me is ....please contact myself or Joe Smith. I believe that this should be written as .....please contact Joe Smith or me. Asking someone to contact myself just sounds awkward. I think the word myself should be reserved for referring to actions that you are personally taking, not actions that you are requesting others to take. If you are an educator with expertise in this area, and Im wrong, please feel free to chastise me.
