We have some good news here. Just short of two months since my husband, R Gene Phelps, was given a terminal diagnosis as a result of metastatic prostate cancer in his hips and right leg. It was devastating to both Gene and me as you can well imagine. It threw both of us for a loop psychologically. But now we are both doing much better with the prognosis. The treatment to slow down the cancer growth rate may be working or we both may be coming to terms with what lays ahead. In any case we are each doing better and dealing with the cards weve been dealt. Were feeling better emotionally and doing a better job of caring for ourselves and for each other. I want to thank our family members who have been here for us and the friends that have reached out. Youre a lifeline!
