I have a heavy heart. After much soul searching I made the difficult decision to have Ashleys Poodle Pup Pierre put down. We purchased him as her sibling replacement in 2001 as Kyle Maron was heading off to college and Danielle Koster was already there. God Bless the vet clinic but things didnt really go as planned. The sedation medication didnt exactly work and when he rallied and they had to give him more I was a millimeter from saying thats it ....must not be his time. He was such a stinkin trooper for having to get insulin twice a day for the last six years, prescription dog food and piddle pills. As painful as it was to see him have seizures on a regular basis he always pulled through. My real fear was realized a few weeks ago when he went AWOL for 4 hours. The last thing we wanted was to have him disappear and never know how painful his last hours or minutes were. So rest in peace our little P-Man. I am sharing with you the memorial that will be etched in stone to mark his resting place. the photo of Pierre was taken from the senior pic with her also posted here. .
