But then I have a similar reaction to the tales and fables about mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law.....until recently. A male friend raised an issue about how he has experienced female colleagues and female bosses. I kept quiet for a change as he related his negative experiences with both. My silence was loud and pregnant with opinion *pun unintended*. Finally when I opened my mouth at his insistence and due to my recent experiences in this regard I could simply say my thoughts are a work in progress on this matter. I need your views.
