I have a little something to say. Lately, there have been a lot of arguments about whether or not our law enforcement system is corrupt. Some say that the police are doing whatever they want and hiding behind technicalities and others say that its all misunderstandings and our police force is better than ever. Riots are happening, more people are getting hurt, and this isnt helping much. I quickly want to state my opinion on this matter. And I may get snapped at or have people hate me for it, but I have a right to my opinion. I believe that neither side is correct, at least not in the entirety. I believe that there are people, cops, out there that are abusing their power. They are killing because they know they can justify it, they are arent just on the borderline of inappropriate law enforcement, they have far passed it. There are a lot of law enforcement officials out there just like that. On the other hand, I DO NOT believe that all cops and law enforcement officials are corrupt and/or bad people trying to get away with hurting others. I do believe our law enforcement system is good and with the right People in it, can be great. And there ARE a lot of great people on the force, helping our country be a better place and just wanting to get real justice for real crimes. So, to the people wearing I cant breathe shirts as a statement against the BAD law enforcement officials doing horrible things, good for you, but not all of them are bad. That is what irks me, people wearing that stuff and blaming all of them as a whole. It really is certain people and not the force itself. I believe in freedom of speech and freedom of expression. But can we all at least be reasonable, logical, and civil about it please? Thats what I have to say with what information I have. I hope I didnt piss too many people off.
