I have a lot of political crap on my mind. I will probably offend a few people, if you want to unfriend me over this coming rant thats OK. I hope not. The politicians that want to put God back into our government make the hair on the back of my neck raise. God was not part of the equation when the founding fathers put together our government. You all are smart people, you know that there was over 100 years between the Pilgrams, who were escaping religious persecution, and the establishment of our Declaration of Independence. And you know that In God We Trust, and One Nation Under God were not on the original forms of our money or our Pledge of Alligence. These politicians want to prey on your fears. Theyre counting on knee-jerk reactions from people who are too lazy to inform themselves. You all have Google, and Bing and all kind of search engines to look up stuff. Please, please, please! Do some homework before you believe. Ok, last thing...God Bless America. I have a love/hate relationship with this phrase/song. I love the song. I loved to sing it as a child. But do we honestly think that we as a country are always so in the right on things that God needs to bless us and only us. If God blesses the US does the rest of the world loose out on those blessings? What happened to the Blessed are the Meek, the Merciful, the Poor in Spirit? Do you think that maybe God has removed blessings because as a country we are a bunch of arrogant a$$es, imposing our will and looking out for our own self interests. I dont know. Facebook asked me what was on my mind....I thought I would tell you all.
