I have a potential game in mind, but it requires moving a small bunch of objects along several parallel cyclical-but-non-circular tracks (up to 20 things, lets say). the non-circularity is not really negotiable, so i cant just make a central spinning wheel to power this mechanic. the whole thing is on a large flat board. whats a good and time-efficient way to do this? i guess you can just flip each token as its moved to keep track, but that sounds awkward and annoying to actually do. (i may just build some sort of gear-and-chain mechanism to move things if nothing else comes up, but that sounds expensive and difficult to make) edit: the problem is not so much moving a bunch of things, its moving a bunch of things without losing track of which one(s) you moved already and which you havent moved yet, exascerbated by the fact that the tracks are cyclical (so already-moved and not-yet-moved pieces will share a space, potentially)
