I have a professional announcement to share with my friends: After five enjoyable years working with the Wynn Nightlife team, I have decided to move on. This has not been an easy decision, as I have formed many close friends and colleagues during my tenure there. I have accepted a position with a high-end tech/media startup in San Francisco created by renowned entrepreneur Evan Williams, a founder of Twitter and Blogger. Its called Medium, and Ill be overseeing their music editorial/vertical https://medium/. (Yes, that means after more than a decade in Vegas I am moving to SF!) Medium is an elegant platform for writing stories and sharing ideas, with ambitious plans to change the way the world communicates. I am supremely psyched to become a part of this superb, innovative organization. I should mention that I first met Ev and the other Twitter founders at our Wynn nightclub venues, where they often visited. The connection dates back to 2010 and an early Twitter event we hosted at Blush. The past few years have been a truly exciting and rewarding phase of my career, and I am grateful for the opportunity that this exceptional resort has provided. Wynn Nightclubs are at the epicenter of the dance music/ DJ culture explosion in America; its been a thrilling ride. I like to say I’ve received an Ivy League education at the premium end of the live entertainment business. Thank you to Sean Christie, Jesse Waits and the whole Wynn family for your guidance and for allowing me to be a part of this superb organization.
