I have a question for some of our fellow Proggers here. What are some North American based Prog artists? Progressive is ok as a title as well, I know some artists tend to walk a fine line (Styx & Toto are examples of that). Im trying to compile a list and perhaps get a possible festival together with some bands/artists that would not have to travel far to get the public introduced to some fantastic music as well as a few classic Artists they already are familiar with. Kings X, Blue Cartoon, Karnivool, Eloy, Spocks Beard, and Kansas, maybe Tool, would be a good balance of Classic to Newer acts. Perhaps there are some that could be great choices as well. Im looking at Kansas City MO or Austin TX, perhaps both for the possibility.
