I have a very simple question to which I would love responses. In brief, Russia seems to think that it is under attack from the west. Seriously, how could anyone take this position when it comes to military concerns? OK the missile DEFENSE systems that were proposed for Poland and Czech Republic and then shelved after Russian objections. Even here the west showed deference, again simply to install DEFENSE systems. Does it not seem fair that someone should install missile defense systems if they feel threatened? How does such even pose as a threat to Russia given they are for defensive purposes. Really, Russia needs to explain why it feels Europe is a threat to its defense posture. To me, especially given the relatively low European defense purchases, this seems truly ludicrous.
