I have a very weak spot for Chihuahuas and when i saw how scared Scrappy was….my heart melted . Scrappy is with us as his family was evicted….His former owners describe him as a typical Chihuahua, lovable but shy around strangers and new things….All alone in a sea of new people and other dogs…..It is a major trauma for Scrappy and no wonder he is so frightened and prefers to stay in his kennel…Sometimes, other dogs, by their example , teach their peers how to behave . I was so pleased with Scrappys transformation when he joined a group of little dogs. He was timid, true, but mingled, got petted, did his business…Who would have thought…. Scrappy lived peacefully with young children, played with other small dogs and even a cat. He is not known to have any handling issues, is well behaved , house trained and very cuddly. As a matter of fact, Scrappy former master says:my favorite thing about Scrappy is that he is quiet and lovable. Scrappy sounds just like the perfect companion, the soulmate, the friend we long to see after a hard day at work…. Scrappy dreams to belong again, to be your loyal friend… Come and meet him at the Manhattan Care Center .Open your home and your heart to this little boy..
