I have always admired Phil Borges photography of Indigenious tribes. His current project with Kevin Tomlinson mirrors my life. I am stunned, grateful, humbled that they are making this statement on our societys perception of madness. Thank you, DeseRae, as always for funding this project on Kickstarter and bringing Crazywise to my attention! Remember the mother who stated after the Sandy Hook massacre that Adam Lanza was her son? A nation grieving was shocked that she would voice her fear and frustration in this way. Obviously she struggles daily to control her young sons mental illness in a non-forgiving society just as I have for 20 years. The Adam in this film could be my son, Sam. A Shaman, a creator, a forward thinker. Not always of this world but grounded in a heart connection. A portal for the force of the Universe at times so strong they hear voices. This film explores how our culture does not support the reality of these occurences as sacred knowledge. Instead Adam and Sam are labeled mentally unstable and useless or a menance to society. Thankfully to my knowledge my son is not being told by the voices in his head to open fire on anyone plus he doesnt have easy access to a gun. As his Mom I watch him closely. He is protected by his family. We make sure he is safe, not homeless or in jail. We love him unconditionally. He is a member of our tribe. Crazywise explores similar options. Perhaps if these Indigo childrens shamanic out-of-body experiences were treated intuitively a healing outcome would naturally transpire. Please give what you can to help make CrazyWise. This work/point of view is so important for all of us to heal. Thank you. Lynne
