I have always been strongly political but Ill admit, that Ive tired of the cycle of corp money and powerful interests influencing our policy, society and culture. Over the years Ive become bit of a political cynic. When I first heard about Marianne Williamson running or congress I was doubtful. But I started to listen to what she had to say and Ive been impressed and honestly, moved by her beliefs and commitment. She reminds me of Bobby Kennedy in her stand for a return to the ideals of equality and her discussion of spiritual leadership and heart engaged politics based on values and integrity that transcends any boundaries. She understands that real change happens in the collective psyche before it moves into action in the world, and I believe, as she does, that the moment for that action can be right now! Ive decided to support her and will be voting for her tomorrow.
