I have an amazing story to share. My husband Larry just got back from the doctor, our primary care physican. Our doctor had requested all the records from the Neurologist from when my husband had his severe head injury back in March, so he could keep a follow up on him. He told us what we already knew -- that the tests in March all showed a subdural hematoma (bleeding on the brain), swelling and several areas of bruising. Then, he mentioned something I dont remember the other doctor saying at the time, probably because I was so out of it with worry and concern and trying to follow all of the fancy medical terms they were saying. He said my husband also had an epidural hematoma which a google search defined to me as potentially deadly because of the buildup of blood and added pressure and complications it causes. I dont know which, or even if, one is worse than the other, but all of these things were going on at once. My husband was in severe pain and was admitted to the Neuro ICU. Thats when I got on here -- on FB -- and asked all of you for prayers and positive thoughts for Larrys healing. Larry went back in to see the Neurologist in April for another CT scan, and they told us at that time that Larry was doing much better and there was no sign of injury or bleeding. It didnt register exactly what he said until today when our doctor said how he had never seen anything like that. Usually it takes months for an injury like the one Larry had sustained to heal and even longer to totally go away. But, all of the bleeding and trauma that was visible in the tests in March were all gone in April. ALL GONE. One month. It was truly a miracle. Miracles CAN and DO happen. No one will ever convince me otherwise.
