I have an up date on Nick Loffredo for Team Gabriel Gladiador Santos Gabriel Gladiator Training Center. Nick is a squad leader finishing basic training at Fort Benning GA. Yesterday he was able to call me with the following story: Nick was already known for his Gabriel Gladiator BJJ since he had previously submitted the top wrestler with a triangle choke. So,at the ground combative test to graduate basic training the Drill Sergeants hand picked guys to try to beat Nick. Nick was told that in order to win he had to submit his opponents with techniques specified by the Drill Sergeants. He won all 6 fights and earned the whole platoon 30 minutes on their cell phones! He is a national hero now to the guys who got to call their girlfriends and families! Nicks mom said she could hear the platoon chanting Nicks name when he called her on his cell. The BJJ techniques he was required to submit his opponents with were: Triangle Choke, Ezekiel Choke, Lapel Choke from Rear Mount, Oma Platta, Arm Bar. Nick said that guys from other platoons are coming to him to take on Call Out matches from their platoons. Thanks to all you guys for the great training at Gladiator BJJ!
