I have beef with the likes of Prof Chirwa and others. See, if we invested the 120M euro bond in a disused steam train and put on our dysfunctional rails of both Tazara and ZR. Tourists,local folks,goods all would move cheaply albeit slower. But our rail would be revamped in record time with all the money white folks would pay as tourist. At the same time we will beat all this talk of subsidies on fuel. Folks, do we need rocket scientist to tell us how to revamp our rail when we can easily do it with old school tactics?
