I have been a driver for the national federation of the blind for a few years. I have been amazed and enlightened to these scammers. sub-minimum wage. I toured the north store here in do-dah with a group last year. I got to sit in on a meeting after the tour and I was, I was, just plain pissed off. mainly at the salaried figurehead who seemed to believe there was no exploitation going on. out of all the facts & figures, yadayada, when asked how many had been rehabilitated/trained and found better paying jobs elsewhere? all of a sudden no one had that information. hmmmm, as in ZERO? I will not donate anything nor purchase anything from goodwill again.
