This Australia Day weekend MMK Music Promotions brings to you a showcase of rock at three venues TrashQueen will be opening the shows with their unique style. Incorporating stoner / grunge rock thats heavily blues based delivered by a tight knit 3 piece unit that are currently working on releasing an album as they enter their 5th year in the local scene. BlackDiamond are the Aussie rockers from Newcastle that deliver a high energy performance with music that is influenced by the likes of acdc , guns & roses and motley crew to name a few . The guys are no strangers to Brisbane and always love a good party when they get here. Hammerhead originated in the apple isle of Tasmania and now with two members living in the sth east they are looking to bring the same high energy shows they are known for back home to the stages of the mainland , before setting their sites on some overseas destinations. Front man Nick Reeves oozes rock and some will know him from the AcDc tribute band Heatseeker along with Danny Swain who is set to rock out their originals to get you dancing . The jewel in the crown on this event is Brimstone Two years work in the studio saw Boris Billing and Pete Black produce an album that is second to none Raise a Glass has all the elements you would expect from a Hard rock band with plenty of experience . Billing and Black cut their teeth early in the Brisbane scene and are joined on stage by some well known fellow musicians to bring you a show that has long been awaited in the Sth east.
