I have been an avid lover of music as long as I can remember. I recall listening to my father’s recordings of Sarah Vaughn, Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Charlie Pride and Patsy Cline as a child (yes - Patsy Cline and Charlie Pride - my father was from Texas :-) ) That being said, the experiences of coming of age in Teaneck afforded me a unique cultural eclectic environment. My musical taste ranges from the likes of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball / Nat Adderley and Herbie Hancock to Robbie Robertson, Ian Anderson, Ginger Baker, Jimmy Page and Neil Young. To this day, when I hear the song I have posted below (written by Willie Nelson), I am taken back to memories of my childhood home on Howland Ave. in Teaneck.
