I have been asked to make some issues clear in regards to the series and how it is going to work. Let me start by saying the only reason I am doing this is so our D36 racers have another place to race these silly motorcycle things. After all the years of watching Anson race, I have always wanted somewhere for the boys and his competition to vend there wears, so to speak. Somewhere to race and make some money. I have tired to make it work in the AMA Hare Scrambles as some of you may know but it has not worked for many reasons. I have a chance to make it happen with Brok McAllister doing the EnduroX Nor Cal Series. My goal is to make a racers series. By this I mean a series that is about the racer not the promoter. Granted I would like to be compensated for the work I put in but that is not my motivation. I want somewhere for the boys to race and make a little money. Last year I realized my dream when everyone that made it to the Pro Main Event went home with some $. Ok it was only $20 but it was something. On the non Pro side of things I also want to make an event that the racer wants to attend because it is plain FUN! That is why we race these silly motorcycle things. I have worked to get some sponsors that will make it a fun event for the amateurs also. Another thing for me, when I go racing for many years the District had been part of it. Anson started racing Dirt Track at the age of 8 years old. So it is difficult for me to go racing without the District 36 being part of it. That is the main reason I have asked for the EnduorX Nor Cal Series to be a D36 series. You are our racing family and I do not want to do it without the District. So please bear with me on this. I have tried my best to reflect the District format as far as classes are concerned. I will have the A, B,C so we do not have the C racers having to compete against the A racers. I have to figure out how to work the A racers into the Pro Main event and still give them A point for the series. I am working on that now. At this point it is a 4 race series and I do not want to penalize the racers that made it to the Ukiah round. So it will be a 4 race series with a throw away round. Essentially it will be a 4 race series based upon the best of 3 rounds. For the A 250 and A Open racers. Not sure how it will work but all racers that enter the A 250 and A Open will have the chance to qualify for the Pro Main event. How that will work out in regards to the final A series points is yet to be determine. Please bear with me on this I will do my best to make it OK. Thanks for hanging in there with me on this.
