GC Central Residents: The National Stadium, UB Stadium, UB Olympic Swimming Pool, the New UB Entertainment and Sports Centre, Gaborone Golf Club, two community halls(City Hall and Tsholofelo), Gaborone Sun, Notwane Football and Tennis Club, Squash Club, Cricket Club, the dying legendary Gaborone Main Mall, BBS Mall, Maitisong Hall, Zoom Club, Tsholofelo Park, Middle Star Mall, Maruapula Mall, Ginger Shopping Complex, Ext 9 Park, Blue Tree Golf Range and Princess Marina Hospital! .......with all these facilities, re palelwa ke eng to create JOBS and set up our constituency as the go to CONSTITUENCY! Sports and Entertainment and Tourism is one of my answers to JOB CREATION, ALL these places are UNDER-UTILSED! This sector can and will support other sectors..... Lots of schools in the area, therefore lots of youth....taking them off the street ka SPORTS and ENTERTAINMENT will definitely take them off CRIME too...ALL these centres can create a lot jobs for graduates from the tertiary schools in the area and PART-TIME jobs for those still in school, thereby taking off some weight from government, seeing that their allowances are not enough to sustain them. We can be a one-stop shop for everyone, attracting everyone to the area by doing little things such as ensuring that the internet is available everywhere in the area at affordable rates, re tsose the Main Mall to make it the CENTRE of the COUNTRY again, improve all the other malls and bring them to international standards. The Segoditshane River is a beehive of criminal activity, I live along it, so i know. Ma Arabia have used deserts and seas/oceans to develop amazing structures, we can do the same with this river without destroying the environment. We will identify land to establish multi-residence complexes for the residents of this constituency. We will help residents with big yards and small houses to build extra houses for rent to those without housing, while le bone ba je sengwe. I will FIGHT to the end, the LAWS that restrict the growth of the SPORTS and ENTERTAINMENT Tourism sector like the 2am curfew ya nightlife, fight to get the Creative Arts Industry to be fully recognised as a viable job career building and job creation sector with enormous commercial value, fully regularized. I will push GOVERNMENT to allow COMMUNITY RADIO STATIONS! The creative Industry is my specialty and it shall serve as one of the pillars from which I will serve this community. And like I said, the beauty of this sector is that it can bring all other sectors TOGETHER to help create EMPLOYMENT, HOUSING and reduce CRIME ....the full manifesto e rwele mo gongwe....ARE u READY 4 CHANGE, make it happen olike Mariah Carey! #RegisternVote4Monnamogolo in October!
