Just wanted to share some reason exciting news (and toot my own horn as well....) I have been asked by Rosalind Franklin University for Medicine and Sciences to participate in developing curricula related to LGBT issues. Currently working on two courses. The first is on tge multidisciplinary approach to medicine with an emphasis on LGBT care for first year medical, PA, Podiatry, and pharmacy students. The second is for second year med students and is LGBT issues in Healthcare. I will likely be teaching some of the individual lectures as well. Lets hear it for a concerted effort to create a positive environment of inclusion as part of medical school programming, and for realizing that PAs CAN teach something to future doctors.... ;-)
