I have been battling with sinusitis, laryngitis, acute bronchitis and Crohns flare really bad for the last week. I am on an antibiotic that exacerbates my Crohns symptoms and, of course, getting ill makes my Crohns worse. The doc I saw on Saturday told me that people with autoimmune diseases tend to get sicker and longer than a person without an autoimmune disease. Crohns is an autoimmune disease. I have been wondering about this, lately, now that I know that I have Crohns because for years I have been getting sick often and it takes me 1 - 2 months to get better. I have been in prayer to the Holy One of Yisrael! In a state of great desperation and suffering for the first time in my life, I cried out to G-D and asked Him why does He allow the wicked one to attack my body so often. He told me, Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Misheli (Proverbs) 3:5-6. This is my favorite Scripture to quote when I do not comprehend things that are above my limited human knowledge! l started praising the Holy One of Yisrael and rebuking the wicked one! I started to feel better and my spirits were lifted. GLORY! HALLELUYAH!! The next morning G-D gave me an additional answer. He told me, Much given, Much REQUIRED! The Ruach HaKodesh stretched THE MUCH REQUIRED part in my spirit to let me know why I have to endure so much, at least in this season in my life. This Scripture can be found in Luke 12:48 To whom much is given, from him much will be required. ALL GLORY, HONOR, POWER, PRAISE AND ADORATION TO THE HOLY ONE OF YISRAEL, LOVER AND KEEPER OF MY SOUL!
