I have been bitten badly by a nation of mosquitos, when on the beach last Wednesday evening. My body didnt show any reaction to the bites till yesterdays afternoon. I have been bitten all over my body, the bites appeared tiny to start with, then got inflamed and spread in wider area. It was extremely uncomfortable, and disorientating, up to late last night, till I remembered the hot metal spoon trick, I placed two heated spoons under a running hot tap, in a cup, then placed and pressed the back of the hot spoon over every bite, took an anti histamine, and finally fell asleep. The Hot Spoon kills the venum and stops the itching immidiately. El Puerto de santa Maria is currently swamped by mosquitos and dragonflies, good job we have the dragonflies to eat them. Leave the beach as soon as the sun sets, dont wait for dusk, this is when they come in thousands and attack. Wear a strong repellent, long sleeved clothes when going out for dinner, this could be extremely uncomfortable for children. Tea tree oil is a great repellent when applied on pulse areas.
