I have been driving from Maine to Indiana for almost 19 years. Most of those years I have driven straight through all by myself. When I told my parents I would be doing the same this trip they said nothing. Twelve hours before I was set to leave I found out that my dad would be joining me on my venture home. After I expressed that a hotel room would be cheaper than a one-way plane ticket I realized that a few extra days with my dad is truly priceless.
