This morning I heard some great examples of the power of Gods word. Peter was able to walk on the water when Jesus said just one word. Jesus said, Come and Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on the water. With 2 words, Jesus raised the a girl from the dead. He said, Maid Arise and she did. He raised Lazarus from the tomb with 3 words, Lazarus come forth. Who else has that power? NO ONE! Remember the Bible is Gods word, In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. If we read the Bible we have Gods word and can do anything through Him. Also, we need to be Neverthess Christians. Simon Peter had fished all night and didnt catch a single fish. The next day Jesus told him to cast his nets into the water. Simon Peter told Jesus that he had fished all night an had not caught anything NEVERTHELESS I WILL, and then cast his net. When we are going through trials or things are not so good for us, we need to obey God and say thing arent working but NEVERTHELESS I WILL obey.
