I have been getting Christmas cards from my friends with letters in them to let me know what they have been doing for the past year. I guess writing once a year to let people know that you are still alive is good. Saves on ink and paper also. I thought that is what I will do this year also only on Facebook. We really haven’t done much this year that is exciting; just the usual stuff, keeping the fire department busy with my cooking. I did try something new this year. I tried to smoke a ham but couldn’t keep it lit. Robert Michael moved into his own apt. in Poulsbo. I tried to talk Bob into getting one over there also for himself, he just ignores me. We had a nice garden this year. The Rabbits, Raccoons, squirrels, snakes and snails were will fed. One exciting thing happend this year, the neighbors chickens came over for a visit in the back yard this summer. Bob weed whacked them. We had Chicken nuggets for dinner that night. YUMM. They taste much better without the feathers though. We have our Christmas tree up and we have had a fire in the fireplace most every evening and of course lots of eggnog. Love this time of the year.
